Chip Arnold plays piano and harp and sings while he plays his guitar.

Chip's from Memphis, but his sound has a lot of Chicago and New Orleans and New York and....

He shows a lot of range in his guitar playing and song selection.

Chip has just moved to West Springfield, Mass., but I'm leaving his photo up as a tribute to this great bluesman! While in Houston, he fronted his own band, THE TERRAPLANES.... (gds10/98)

Brad McCool mixes the '40s swing style blues with the electric blues he grew up listening to in Austin, Texas during the '80s & '90s.

He's young, but he's good. A real up & coming guitar player.

Along with his Big City Blues Band, Brad has recently released his first CD....gds6/98

Larry Barras in action!
Larry told me about the bluesjam at DAN ELECTRO'S GUITAR BAR while we were online in the MUSIC/ARTS forum on compuserve.
I guess we owe these bluesjam pages to his fine work of getting me out to play.
He's a real tubehead, and Larry's web site is a fountain of info on the subject of tubes!

Tom Berno is a regular at both jams. His new/old stratocaster has him excited lately, as does his Tone King amp.

Boy, I love that Tone King. Tom often leaves it onstage for me to play guitar through - and it makes me a better guitar player!

Tom is a great example of what a year of playing regularly will do. He has improved the most during the time I've been out to jam with all these guys.

I met (and jammed with) Allison Fischer in Buffalo's shop inside of Fish's garage, two years before I attended one one of the jams. When I finally attended, it was her last week before moving to Savannah. Now, two and a half years later, Teri says that she's moving back soon!

Allison is an excellent guitar player, and was leader of the second house band at the Wednesday night bluesjam at THE BIG EASY, which also featured Chris Bakos and Teri Greene.

Craig McDonald showed up one night with his new bike!...Wow!

Craig flies a jet for Continental by day and flies his guitar by night!
